This annual grant opportunity is for educators who want to innovate their teaching and student learning, but need basic technology or technological infrastructure (i.e., servers, devices). This grant is for basic equipment and/or technology only.

St. Louis Public School (SLPS) educators, we invite you to explore grant opportunities through our friends at the St. Louis Education Fund. While ITEF cannot currently make direct grants to SLPS institutions, we look forward to supporting your work in other ways.

$30,000 MAX: $30,000.00 is the cap for the Catapult grant. Optional: The successful application can include professional development that relates to the implementation of new technology. The Professional Development line item should not exceed 25% of the total request.
APPLICATION WINDOW: The grant window to submit an application is September 1 – October 31, 2026
NEW: Schools that receive a Catapult award must wait one full grant cycle before reapplying. For example, a 2026 award recipient would not be eligible to apply again until 2028. Catapult awardees may apply for an Innovator grant within the same school year.
Priority consideration will be given to schools with a 50% or greater free or reduced meal student population
Applicants are welcome to email ITEF@innovteched.com to schedule a brief virtual chat or phone call to discuss grant ideas or ask clarifying questions before submitting an application. Please note that ITEF staff will not review Catapult application drafts prior to submission.
