Since 2013, ITEF has been honored to support innovative K–12 projects through the Innovator Grant Program. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of seeing educators and schools turn creative ideas into meaningful opportunities for students. 

As we celebrate 40 years of impact and look toward the next decade, our Board and leadership have been reflecting on how we can focus our resources for even greater impact. As part of this reflection, ITEF has made the decision to sunset the Innovator Grant Program. 

While this marks the end of a chapter, we’re grateful for all that this program has made possible and for the many school partners who have shared their ideas, vision, and work with us. 

What this means for school partners: 

  • Current Grantees: All active grants will remain fully funded, and reporting requirements will proceed as scheduled. 

  • New Applications: ITEF will not accept new Innovator Grant applications for the 2027 grant year. 

We look forward to sharing more about ITEF’s strategic direction and future funding opportunities in the coming months. Thank you for being part of the Innovator community and for the important work you do every day on behalf of students and educators.
